Puppy Training Classes
Covering lots of training elements such as lead walking, basic obedience cues, socialisation, and recall. We will also have discussions about puppy's life at home and helping them settle into family life.
Led by Kathryn Jobling who has been trained through IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers), bringing a fresh and updated style of Puppy Classes where there is room to allow Pups to be Pups, encouraging them to make good decisions through force free shaping and developing kind and confident personalities.
Welcoming all breeds, mixes, sizes. For Pups under 6months old and fully vaccinated. Please enquire for upcoming class dates and prices.

Recall Workshops
Would you like to work on your recall with your dog? Recall is such an important skill to practice with your dog - of any age! In this recall workshop you will be practicing recall in a secure training field and in a distracting environment, by making recall fun for your dog and building the value to your recall cue.
Waggy Canine Services train only using positive methods with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment for both dog and owner. Please enquire for upcoming dates and prices.

Loose Lead Workshops
No one likes being dragged around on the daily walk... you can change that!
Loose lead walking is one of the most desirable training traits in a dog, meaning they can walk on a lead without any tension and pulling. In this class we will learn some games and exercises to show your dog the value of walking close to you, and remain engaged on a walk in distracting environments.

Want to progress your Puppy’s training but don’t necessarily have the time to practice? Kathryn offers personalised 1 to 1 Training Walks to work on aspects of puppy training like loose-lead walking, recall, confidence building around other dogs, people or cars as examples. All whilst your dog gets their daily exercise or play time.

Adult Training Sessions/ Walks (1 to 1)
For Adult Dogs that need a reminder of how to walk on a loose-lead, sharpen up their recall, and remember social etiquettes such as not rushing through an open door. Kathryn offers personalised 1 to 1 Training Walks/Sessions to work on these aspect of training, all whilst your dog gets their daily exercise and play time.
Training is only done in an engaging, safe, and fun environment using positive and modern training techniques.

Where are The Puppy Academy Courses held?
Group Courses in 2022 are held at South Hykeham Village Hall. Recall and Loose Lead Workshops are held at our private secure field in Swinderby.
